Probiotics Seven Day Home Treatment System from TheraBreath

Review Part One: I reviewed TheraBreath products in March. I can tell you that since that review, I have replenished my supply and continue to use the Oral Rinse, Toothpaste, and the Lozenges. If you missed my review and giveaway (expired) click the link above.

The newest product that I am reviewing is the TheraBreath Seven Day Probiotic Home Treatment System. Before I actually begin this regimen to help support the body against......

.....I videoed the box and contents and went over the directions for what you and I have to do to make this product perform to it's full potential. Probiotic Review Part 2: April 30th, 2011

I finished the 7 day treatment as directed.

The rinse had a bit of a  lemon taste. I could feel a slight fizz while rinsing for 60 seconds. I have never been very good at gargling. If I took the whole one ounce and gargled, I drooled like a St. Bernard so I took very small sips and gargled several times. That helped and I could get back farther in my throat that way.

I noticed on the third day that I had no sign of bleeding gums. Normally, my gums did bleed a tiny bit while brushing.

Another noticeable difference was that some of the stains on my bottom front teeth had disappeared. 

I would like to start this treatment again after a visit from the dental hygienist. I do believe it would help to maintain the absence of plaque if I started with a clean slate of teeth. 

As far as sore throats and ear aches, I did not have any. I may not have anyway but who knows?

The most amazing thing I discovered is the willingness of my 4 year old granddaughter who wanted to gargle the Probiotic formula. That astounded me. She is normally a very picky kid and the taste didn't bother her so you can trust that it is mild and not unpleasant.

She also gargled quite well and could spit like a pro ball player. Since Probiotics does have 1 Billion units of BLIS-producing S. salivarius per dose ( M18 + K12 are the Probiotics that target hostile bacteria responsible for various oral cavity related illnesses while allowing beneficial oral flora to remain intact.) , I think this is something I want my daughter to encourage to use for my granddaughter. 

We gargled together to see who could make the funniest noises. This made our treatments fun. To her it was a game. To me it was "Thank Goodness" she is getting a good rinse!

She is prone to cavities and already has fillings and has other dental work done. She also picks up every bug passed around at pre-school. At $28/for a 7 day full treatment, I think it is worth the money to try if it can avoid dental costs down the road.

The ease of use was great. Everything is pre-measured for you. In fact, the box with the packs of powder to mix with water is set in the Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, ect, box so it is impossible to forget and easy to keep track of. TIP: Write the date on the box that you started.

I may be an easy sell on TheraBreath products though. I have totally switched to their toothpaste, oral rinse and lozenges. I trust their research and what they claim to do.
My breath is fresher (even in the mornings). So much so, in fact, that I have to remember to brush in the mornings. The nasty taste and bad breath was my reminder before I used TheraBreath.
